Chartered Physiotherapist / Licensed Acupuncturist

Sarah Dillon

I am originally from West-Cork, I am a Chartered Physiotherapist. I have a BSc in Physiotherapy from Semmelweis University, Hungary (2011) and a Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, from Sheffield Hallam University, UK (2014). With a speciality in Pain Management. Diploma in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture.

You can be sure to feel welcome and given the utmost of care in the clinic, a friendly atmosphere means patients can feel comfortable in the collaboration between the therapist and the patient in determining the best treatment. I provide Physiotherapy with a difference. Incorporating alternative therapies and techniques. Everyone is unique, and every treat should be the same.

“I believe in quality. I believe in and love what I do. I think everyone deserves a chance to be pain free and live their life to the fullest. Spending time collaborating with my patients on a one to one basis is the highlight of my day. There is great fulfillment knowing I’ve helped make life better for you.”

I believe I have a great work ethic, I can assure you I will leave no stone unturned, when trying to get to the root cause of your pain! Focusing always on differential diagnosis, ensuring there is no underlying conditions and that the diagnosis is accurate, and not generic. This can guarantee the root source of your pain or dysfunction is diagnosed and will ensure a more concise treatment plan. Eliminating your pain or dysfunction more efficiently, allowing you to get back optimal movement and back to enjoying life.

“I provide Physiotherapy with a difference”

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me spending quality time with the people in my life. Always taking on a new course or a new challenge. I simply love to learn and develop both personally and professionally and I try and encourage my patients to do the same.

I have always been competitive and growing up I did all kinds of sporting activities, but the one that trumped them all was Rowing whether it was in the sea or river. It was through a rigorous training regime at Skibbereen Rowing club that I gained my first insight into being a Physiotherapy patient. I loved everything about it from the age of 13.

I truly believe having a vast repertoire of treatments and approaches creating for more of a holistic way of healing.
